Honestly I think its whatever strikes someone's fancy. I don't do a lot of reviews myself, at least as much as I vote unless there is something I have to comment on. But I will try to spread the word and comment on your stuff.

getting noticed from scratch is just somthing that requires a little luck, a little skill, and some time. you need to have a submission thats either decent enough to get noticed(or bad enough to win the turn of the week) but noone wants to be know as the turd person :P also you just gotta be a little lucky and have the right ppl or the right number of ppl to review quickly to get ur name out. ill say just keep posting stuff and eventualy you will get noticed. also ill coment more on ur stuff and tell some folks about you as well. just drop me a pm when you post sumptin so i can write about it :) and make sure you post comments a lot too so your name is around. that definatly helps.

normally the videos that get A LOT of reviews are the frontpaged ones, but everyone knows that xD

and you are asking how to get more reviews, not how to get front paged (actually, i think you should have had some frontpages, your videos are not only inspiring, their have a really really good art... sooo, that's not the problem why you don't have more reviews)

soo, here is my suggestion: make an entry with a headline more eyecatching, like the Five Iron's ones (i saw some reviews from him in your videos and your response, so i guess you are a friend of him) some people will look your userpage and they will review :3

p.s.: now i think about it, you should ask Five Iron about the headlines, and you can help him with his problem with the inspiration (if him still have it)

p.s.2: keep that icon, as you say, red heads have more fun! (and men know that!)

You are on the right track, just keep submitting quality submissions and you will eventually gain a following like some of the NG greats. Also send out PMs to the people who have favorited your submissions, letting them know you have released something new!

Don't worry too much about it, when you become well known, you get lots of reviews every submission, so keep submitting great stuff and the reviews will keep coming in.

Getting reviews is all based on whether they enjoyed your flash or not. You can do this by the following:
- Make a flash about a hot topic that'll get people talking
- Make a flash about something everyone loves/hates
- Pick a good title that'll get people to notice it
- Once you're good enough front page will hit and you'll have TOO MANY reviews to handle :P
