FIRST!

But seriously, if your talking about flash movies, not games, then I'd have to go with short comedies. Stuff like explosm does.

But if your talking about games, anyone will do. Having medals helps alott.

i like the flashes that are naughty

Mature-eque ones with a lot of adult humor.

Lame jokes piss me off.

longish, episodic comedies.

i like the clever ones that have something to say, they entertain and they also help me understand the things i find complex.

Definitely the serious ones that cause an emotinal reaction. They are the ones that leave an imprint on people

It really depends in the mood that I'm in.

Usually, I like movies that have either a short and sweet joke or a really good story in combination with good graphics. That's the staple/typical movie.

The other side of the coin is the quick and gritty area of dick jokes and obviously bad cartoon, like "bowjeah in his casshel" (or however it's spelled :3)

From time to time, though, I have found myself drifting to games, whether it be that I want medals, just really bored, or I just want to play Meet 'N Fuck because there's porn AND bad writing (which I find humorous).

Unfortunately, as I've become inured to the art as well, there are some things I tend to stray from.

Namely, Adam Phillips movies. I'm real fucking tired of all his movies looking alike, having the same regurgitated plot, and getting overrated. I mean, what do you expect from a 40 year old guy who worked at Disney?

Another thing I don't like are those movies that just are aimless and then claim to be "experimental". No, you just don't know how to write a fucking story or have some sort of central idea. Even Sexual-Lobster // Greasy-Moose movies have some sort of deranged plot to them. Weird movies can be awesome, if people actually put the time and effort into them to make them so.

I also like the ones where people cultivate their own styles, so the VF twins are great for up and coming, Luis, BOMToons, Krinkels (since he's the originator of madness), Stamper, JohnnyUtah, and Lenkobiscuit. Essentially, if you can look at it and immediately associate a name with the style.

I don't like strange wierd ones so much. Prefer quality comedies.

I've always been a sucker for a good puzzle platformer. Spewer, Closure, Shift, Seppukuties... Those are the good stuff.

If you are talking about animations, I've always been fond of comedy and videos that use music well. Run Darnell Run has been one of my favorite flashes that I've seen in a long time.

Parodies... Comedy. Video Game Fan fics... those are my personal favs.

But I also enjoy some games.

For movies: I don't mind romance and such.

I rate what I see of how good it is.

I personally do not like HORROR (unless its parody) Drama, SPAM!

I do like the action flashes or alternate flashes like artsie stuff...
But sometimes they bore me.

I love flash movies which break the mold, which offer something you wont find in the mainstream.

Sprite movies, and pop culture based flashes... Not typically a fan unless its incredibly good...

Flashes which attempt to be a sit-com... can be entertaining, but its not unique to the flash world.

Personally, I love quirky flashes like those the Star Syndicate produce.. I love the twisted Sonic the Hedgehog toon on the front also.... as well as "Jerry" which we had a few years ago... as well as Happy Harry's stuff..

I tend to like serious, non-vocal shorts that really make you think. The Composer by Jazza is a good example.

Though I won't say no to a decent comedy, but only if the jokes are good.

For movies, I like comedies, parodies, and stick figure fights.

When it comes to games, I enjoy point and click, platformers, and puzzles.

I tend to stay away from ultra-violent movies and fighting games (similar to Mortal Kombat).

Like you, I also like things that make me think. "Dog of Man" and "Gray" are such examples.

what kind of flashes i like? urs of course very creative and surreal....surreal things are a way much better than funny or those kinds of flashes...and NG games hehe... maybe a flash of creepy pandas would be good too haha..

btw strange and weird is like the same thing...lol...
Surreal <3
hope to see one of ur amazing flashes soon <3

I like anything that has done what the artist intended for it to do. If someone makes a comedy/parody and i don't luagh then in my opinion it failed and even if it has the best animation and art ever seen, it would still have failed at what it was trying to do.

The first guy here said he likes exoplosm's stuff which is the really unfunny (but meant to be funny) flash movies based on the web-comic (which was waaay better) "cyanide and happiness".

The movies he make are really bad attempts to make you luagh and if your sense of humour is satisfied with nothing then i guess you would enjoy it. But that to me is a excellent example of a movie(s) that fails at what its trying to do and becuase of that i hated every second of it.

Quality, well written comedy with a good mix of jokes.

anything involving scat, pregnancies or awkward sexual experiences.

what i like in flashes, is art, and a strong plot, not nessecary a long plot, but a short strong one.

I like comedy flashes that sum up the jist of a group, feature, or society in some sort of parody or twisted vision. I also have special places in my heart for the Ren & Stimpy/John K's type tongue and cheek style. 'Will always put a smile on my face.
